The enlightened journey of my career started at the age of 10 when I was introduced to this beautiful dance form Bharatanatyam by my respected Guru Sri. G. Rateesh Babu under whose guidance and tutelage I have learnt and mastered the dance form. Guru Sri. G. Rateesh Babu is the pupil of renowned Guru Sri. Adiyaar K. Lakshman.

 

My intense desire, dedication and determination to excel in the field of Bharatanatyam led me towards achieving Visharad in dance from Gandhava Maha Vidyalaya, Mumbai; Dance certificate Ko -Vid & Post Graduation in Dance from Indira Kala Sangeetha Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh (Chattishgarh). In addition to this I did Diploma in Carnatic Vocal music from my alma mater.  After many years of hard work and practice spent in gaining knowledge and attaining mastery in this dance form, I realised my dream by establishing Dance institute ‘Natyam’ in the year 2000. Through this temple of Art and learning I spread the Exquisite culture of our country among the young generation by training them in the dance form.

My forte is classical choreographies like Sri Krishna Charitam, Tulsi Ramayana, Mythological dances; and dance dramas like Sakuntalam and Geet Govindam. I have also experimented with Contemporary dance forms that are the fusion of Western and Indian dances like jugalbandi between Russian Ballet and Bharatanatyam.
